Work in progress

I quickly snapped these photos tonight before I closed up the studio. Just to record that there is work in progress.
I'm using the images from the Luttrell Psalter on these jugs. They never fail to fascinate me. I like the wonderful graphic lines. The clothing in particular has great linear qualities. I sgraffitoed away for about eight hours with only a quick lunch break so by the end of the day my eyes were sore so when my husband suggested a trip to our local I was glad of a change of scene!

  1. Looking forward to seeing your work in McGill Duncan Gallery. Will you be getting up for the preview? You always seem to love the same things as I do, that Psalter is wonderful.

  3. Blog's looking lovely, Margaret and warmest congrats on the top 100. Brilliant! V. much enjoyed looking at the Alice work especially the one of Alice with the White Rabbit -really reminded me of me following Emmanuel Cooper around at Collect several years ago - he kept on on exclaiming, 'So much FLIM FLAM, SO MUCH FLIM FLAM!' I kept thinking he'd dart down a hole any minute and I'd wake up.
Anyway, hope you're well - all looks fab.
    v. best
