Today I have been enjoying producing some more feather bowls. It's quite relaxing to return to something I've made many times before.I started the day with a swim and had a long lunch break at the local cafe where they do 'all day breakfast'. So I cann't say I've worked very hard today!
Hi Margaret, feathers are hard to draw on paper... how you make them feel so fine and light on clay is quite an achievement! I've just tried sgraffito on damp slip and liked what it offered, much more fluid (obviously!) than working dry. I can't figure out why i can't get your blog to 'stick' on my reading list, but it just never appears. I'll try again. I'm really enjoying that mug too.. make more! (but i understand why you don't with the time/price of a mug thing!)
